I LOVE THIS SCENE! is sooo cuuuuuute♥

My husband was the little boy who ran around in the background playing with the bubbles. (2:18) . He got a chance to meet Johnny Depp after waiting in a line for hours just to get his signature and give it away to his baby sitter, later on. LOL. He said Depp was very nice to everyone on the set (even extras), which I thought was neat to hear about. I always thought this was a cute movie.

I was walking through the park on this particular day and thought that a commercial was being filmed...had no idea who Johnny Depp was at the time. I stood around the action like many others were doing...just being curious. Some years later...an ex of mine said she saw this film Bennie and Joon and stuck it the VCR and said...LOOK!! That's you!! So there's my brush with greatness...I'm an incidental extra. Of course I tell everyone now that I was in a movie with Johnny Depp.

It ain't nicknamed SpoKomptom for nuthin. I have heard a lot about this city being really trashy with a high crime rate. I also read that the Wiggers per capita in Spokane is the highest in the world!!!

Yeah, I saw it. It's a true story that was made up! :op I got to meet Patch Adams back in '99 when he gave a lecture at ODU. VERY tall guy, at least 6'5", hair down to his waist which was orange and blue, and a big ole handlebar mustache. He didn't like the movie, but it got his message out there, plus he got the royalties for his hospital.

@CaptainBugg If you hadn't seen the movie "Patch Adamsyet.. I think it's the next step for you! You'll thank me later! The Real Patch also have a website called: "Gasundheit!" I once wrote him a letter and he answered me back! Just a wonderful person! Have a great life! and way the go on living up your dream! I just saw this movie again on tv, and thought about it myself.. I did this for my act in my school's talent show xD then switched over to the bread scene and did that on a picnic table my friends brought in
