Summer of 1992 in Spokane. The inside of the hospital scenes were made in an old warehouse near Hamilton and Trent, where I had to deliver 5-gal. bottles of water to every weekday. When this was shot, they cordoned off Riverfront Park massive that day.

"did you have to go to school for that?" "Oh no, i got thrown out of school for that." Hahahahahahahahahah! classic!

@fingersplustoes no that's just the personality of the character he plays. it's really cute. actually i think, when he he was younger, i can see him doing this just for fun in a park, because he's Johnny Depp.

i dont think Sam had a mental problem ericm1988 he was just odd (which i love). lol I have a hat kinda like that and when i first saw this movie i went to wal mart i got bored so i kicked it around like that then me and my sister pretended that we couldnt let go of each others hands like how Sam did. it was hysterical!!!!!

i live in spokane. and i go to river front park ALL THE TIME. its awesome seeing the backround and being like "I WAS THERE!!!" lol

i saw this moview on netflix... it was a great movie helping people understand how 2 opeople with a mental problem can relate to one another

a brilliant homage to Buster Keaton performed by a very talented actor...and he is mighty sexy too ;-)
