Me too! He was incredible...even thought he looks a bit too old for the part (he's 15 now) and his voice cracked a little...he was still the best dancer and all around performer i have ever seen! He is incredible!!

I think benn2go is completely right, David Alvarez is Canadian; he was born and raised in Montreal. He's told this in the interviews.

For anyone doubting his Canadian heritage, his parents are Cuban and he was born in Montreal, Quebec (which is in Canada the last time I checked) on May 11, 1994. He also studied under the same ballet teacher as I did before my family moved back to Toronto. Sorry billyluver0912. Canada claims the best of the bunch!
