I agree with your assessment.
The scientific group is in charge?
not to sound too vulgar or pessimistic, but i assume one could even see that this proposition disguises a dictatorial precision. i'd like to draw attention to what hes claiming here. 'teach everyone to think the same.' is this not the language of dictatorship? (i think you'll find that it is.)
i do agree with mr fresco with the premise of his theory about our conditioning.(the competitive system as he coins it) if you know a thing or two about psychology you'll find a lot of our character in make up was due to environmental circumstances. if we abolished those in power, and over throw the prime movers, it will be a start. if thats even conceivable but the implications are just too extreme to undertake. but its high time for a revolution i say. indeed way past due.
communism by definition. the venus project and its proposition 'is' exactly that. and what did we learn from observing communist Russia?
there will always be a ruling class. i think its called 'communism.'
people will not be motivated to work for something in the long term then the programers will rule basically
They are stuck in one question "who made the decision if was going to happend?"
The venus the has really idea but i think in the saner society with the abundance of relevant technology and with the help of great innovators, the technology itself would help people come up getting the right decision.
What an amazing video. Jacque and Roxanne are two of the few people, compared to a global population of about 4 billion, that are actually trying to change people's way of living into something better, while most of the population is satisfied with the way life is, as an established, unchangeable, closed-minded system.
another authoritarian system
The answer to the question of "who makes decisions" is nobody. We as a species arrive at decisions based on the most accurate and current information available.
Is amazing how he can evolve his ideas studying everything. I hope in future we will have more people like him! Very passionate and sensitive.
I admire you Jacque, as a person, as a men, as a human being :-)
Seems like he will live forever... he seems to be in surprisingly good health for.. what is it, 96?
This is a New World. Fuck how it has "always been" ur still thinking in primitive ways. Not trying to be rude but... if everyone has access is living like they won the lottery(figuritively speaking) why would ppl feel the need for anything extra...dominance of what? dominate what?
At 1:03:00: see Barry Schwartz on the paradox of choice, Ted Talk for recent findings on how choice makes us unhappy.
There is a Video on youtube called A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE MOON i encourage all who seek truth to watch it in full.
I think what they are proposing here will eventually happen regardless of us believe in it today or not ! this is the path of our civilization! we can speed it up by starting to rewire out thoughts and understanding their proposal here! we need to understand that the only true happiness comes from serving others and that each of us will gain the most by thinking this way! this couldnt happen20 years ago!they couldn't get their world out without the technology available now!
No, he would probably decline. But if he did live forever, the skies the limit, actually, scratch that. There is no limit to the potential good that would come of it.
People don't get that in his world, yes there will be population problems, but there would be in our society today. Except our government would probably kill people off, if a plague didn't do it for them.
However in Jacque's vision. At least we might colonize Mars.

HAHA it's the exact opposite. The NWO is a term used to describe a group that controls everyone, with only one government, one country, spanning the globe, with one world bank. This is not the case here. You are using the word incorrectly. Jacque Fresco's concept is absolutely free. The machines do monotonous, repetitive tasks for the us, so we can train to be scientists, engineers, artists, instead of cashiers, assembly line workers, ets.
Better? Yes.
NWO? No.

I don't know if what he proposes would work. It could but perhaps silly humans would ruin it but, wouldn't it be nice to be able to sit back and enjoy wonderful things in life with wonderful people. We don't need to work, we've been conditioned to work. That is why so many put such importance on it. Don't get me wrong, I work really hard but, If there's a better way then, why not use it.
we havent , we have never tried it , at least not in a social setting such as we have today, the american constitution stated clearly that is was a goverment for the , by the people , that means you dont get to sit back and let the politics to the politicians it means every citezen should be a part of the process and be informed of what is being done to and in the name of theire land and people.of course , this never hapen either....
So you believe that 65 odd million people will be able to live in the cities in the uk quite happily? The apartments will be designed by machine, but built by people on workfare... If you look into the NWO and their agenda you may see why its sounds pretty grim.. They should do a tester with them man-made isle (cant remember where they are) get a load of people who like the sound of it and go and live there. See if they like it then.. Its all about control of people.
We have been responsible for ourselves and look where we are today.
and also ignorant. as i would call him, a fat fuk.
