And plus. This "civic", if you really want to call it that, is completely gutted, has no tire restriction, and all that. Tim Lynch's old mustang was a full weight 3300lb car, which ran on a 10.5W tire. They aren't putting full power down until 180-250 feet out.. I dont see why you compare them, they're two COMPLETELY different cars, in COMPLETELY different classes(which makes all the difference really). So stop being Hondas tool and to answer your last question, obviously its a V8...

First of all Its not a Ford 620. It WAS completly custom built 620 cubic inch Proline race motor. They ran a 670 for 2009. And if they ran anywhere near how much boost that V6 needs to make those times, they would be with top fuel..

Well stevebcentral.....just fyi, Tim Lynch's world record run in the 2008 Shakedown Event was a 6.49. Steph Papadakis's record in his V6 civic was 6.54. That's a .06 second difference. It's tough to find specs on a Ford 620ci, but i'm guessing its a V8, maybe you could update me on the liters/cyl's on a 620ci? Honda V6 = 6.54 Ford V8 = 6.49 I'd say thats "standing a chance" ;)
