Welcome to a day in the life of a plebe. These Naval Academy freshmen undergo a grueling schedule: They wake at the crack of dawn for physical education, clamber across an obstacle course, rush to morning classes, assemble for noon meal formation and set sail on the Severn. Its all in a day's work for a plebe. It will not let me post the web address but if you google the US Naval Academy Office of admissions, you should be able to find it easily
Chad, here is a link that will give you all the requirements for admission. Please read through the entire page prior to beginning your application as requirements can be quite stringent. many would-be candidates are unable to get the required official sources references to begin the process so make sure that you have those reference letters "in hand" prior to beginning. The very best of luck to you in your quest and I hope to hear back that you are on your way to becoming a plebe.
i don't wanna sound smug but this seems elementary and if all schools had 1 hour of this in P.E. the kids will be in better shape and would be more interesting
@Victor Truong I want to go into the naval academy . I want to be a fighter pilot and serve my country. What do I have to do to get into the academy ? I know I need good grades but what else? Please help
I wish my PE class was like this...
how much miles did they run
*country.. Excuse my horrid spelling
It's always been a dream of mine to be in the Naval Academy but most of my family is against it and say that I'm only a freshman in high school and I can change me mind. The thing is, is that I know I want to be able to serve my county. So does anybody have an suggestions on what I can do to get prepared for the academy and what I should do to have a good chance of getting into the academy?
I've wanted to be in the Navy for as long as I can remember. I just started high school and my goal is to go to the Naval Academy and succeed in the Navy like my older brother and father. Hopefully by the time I finish high school I can join these elite students. Good luck to anyone who's made it and future students.
so how many miles did you run
go army, beat navy
Good luck, kid! Keep your grades up, maintain athletics, and don't forget to give back to your community through service. If you keep those three, you're bound to get into the Academy.
Do you know that Christianity is correct? The world around us reveals that G-d DOES exist, and the historical evidence reveals that Jesus Christ really did come to this earth and there is overwhelming evidence that Jesus Christ really did physically rise from the dead. Jesus is coming again and the signs of the end times that were foretold in the Bible are coming to pass.
its their (the deatailer) year of graduation
I am only a Freshman in high school. But my passion to join the NAVY is strong and I really want to attend the Academy. However, before then I am going to have to shape up and learn how to swim properly. Should be a hoot!! Good luck to all new incoming Academy freshman. I hope you succeed in college to your full potentials =D
Think about all the crap this guy had to go through every day over the past few months
fuck that. wear the Marine uniform you fucking earned
if you want the best chances of being a seal you sshould enlist
you will wear the same thing as everyone else, if you go to NAPS they will let you wear your blues instead of the SDBs when you have special occasions and stuff but once you get to annapolis they will treat you the same as the regular mids
I want to go soooooo badly
Plebe Uniform.
If you go in to the academy as an enlisted marine do you have to wear the plebe whites uniform or do you wear your own marine uniform?
i wish you the best of luck
I will be going there to have better chances of making it into the Navy SEALs.
