"My son, Joey Caddy PO1, has been in the Navy for 14 1/2 years. He deployed Nov. 14, 2011 on board the USS Makin Island out of San Diego. His older children Tyffani (10) and Anthony (8) knew he was coming home Friday, but didn't know he would be there in time to pick them up from school. I was there with my other son, Jonny, and his family.
I love the kids reaction when they see me. They yell "Yaya" and come running towards me. But it doesn't compare to when they see their Daddy. Thank you Lord for bringing Joey home safely to his family."
