If you haven't seen Nang Sib Song, then you might be a little confused at the beginning of this lakorn. It has a little bit flashback from the end of Nang Sib Song as it's a sequel to that lakorn.
Basically, Nang Sib Song is about Rodasan's mother and aunts-- how they were taken in by a giantress. But they later ran away and all married the same one king. The giantress exacted revenge by stealing the king, kicking them out, stole their eyes (except the youngest princess has one eye left). She left them to die in a cave. All the princesses except the youngest gave birth to stillbirth babies. The youngest princess was Rodasan's mom and had to hide him from all the other princesses growing up. He grows up, finds the giantress. But he falls in love with her adopted daughter, Maree. Although he loves Maree, he tricks her and the giantress and gets his mother and aunts' eyes back.
In this beginning, it starts out with him leaving Maree. When he returns to her, it's too late. As she dies, she's says that she's spent this life chasing him... so he must spend the next life chasing her.
Cut to next life... Prasuton (Rodasan) and Manorah (Maree) dream of each other all the time. Prasuton wants to find her and with his servant's help, she is captured and brought home to him, where he woos her. But eventually, she returns home after his family treats her very bad. Prasuton sets off to bring the love of his life back.
